Companion Antos is obtained by reaching a high level of trust with Achilles, and then gifting him Ambrosia. This also requires the full level of trust (6 nectars given) with Patroclus, but it is not necesary to gift him Ambrosia as well. Using Antos in battle will summon Achilles and Patroclus to aid you. They will appear briefly and deal 1500 damage to 2 foes one after the other. These attacks have a brief delay, albeit they will not miss so long as there is a target on the screen. They may only miss if the potential target has become invulnerable or left the screen. If there is only one foe in the screen both Achilles and Patroclus will target it for a total of 3000 damage. They will always prioritize hitting different targets however, so the double hit is only possible if there is a lone foe. This high level of damage makes it ideal against bosses, as its higher than Battie and Shady, and far more reliable than Mort and Fidi. However, care must be taken to guarantee the double hit for burst damage, so the player should be watchful of additional units or targetable objects the boss might have summoned. Antos cannot be used outside of combat encounters or while fighting Hades. Hades will eventually grant the authority to use Antos against him. Like other Companions, Antos can only be used once per combat encounter, and up to 5 times per run (upgradable with Ambrosia) or more if the Night Spindle is bought from the Well of Charon. == Codex Entry == == Additional notes == * Once Zagreus forges a bond with both Achilles and Patroclus, the text becomes "From Achilles & Patroclus, their devotion, absolute" * Antos' appearance is likely a reference to how Achilles was the commander of the warrior tribe known as Myrmidons, a word that has been interpreted to mean "ant-people," from the Ancient Greek μύρμηξ * Antos is the only companion whose Greek letter in the tag isn't the lower case form. Nav items es:Compañero Antos
